Pinnacle achieves record sales, secures
new customers and new funding
Watford, 13 August 2002. In a highly successful last quarter,
Pinnacle Computer Systems - the UK's leading service management solution
provider - has acquired several new, high-profile clients, delivered
record sales, and secured the second round of investment from its
venture capital company. These significant achievements have placed
Pinnacle in an extremely strong position to enter the next stage of
its strategic development, and spearhead the next generation of service
management solutions.
With leading companies in sectors such as Security (Banhams), Heating,
Ventilation and Refrigeration (Tricall, Status Heating, Swale Heating
and Q8), Building and Facilities Management (Carillion), Catering
and Vending (First Choice Coffee and Avenance) and General Industrial
(Wadkin, JLA, PES, Brover Plus and ACM) all committing to Pinnacle's
advanced service management technology, the company has significantly
increased its already prestigious portfolio of clients.
Pinnacle's philosophy of providing customers with the most advanced
solutions, coupled with extremely high service levels and a highly
proactive approach are seen as key to the increase, and form the platform
for future developments, including the expansion of its sophisticated
range of mobile data systems.
"The Service Market has responded in the most positive fashion
to Pinnacle's intensive development schedule of the last 12 months,"
comments David Cotton, Managing Director of Pinnacle. "Our ability
to provide mission critical solutions 'out of the box' across a wide
range of market sectors is testament to the policy of reinvestment
for future growth."
With the completion of its second round of funding, Elderstreet Investments
- one of the UK's leading specialists in funding for high growth businesses
- has underlined its long-term commitment to Pinnacle. Indeed, with
record sales in the last quarter, and significant profits expected
for the next period, Elderstreet are delighted with Pinnacles
performance and are confident the company is well positioned to build
on its success.
As Michael Jackson, Chairman of Elderstreet explains, "We are
delighted with Pinnacle's recent results and are convinced the company
has the right infrastructure in place to move forward to even greater
success in the future. As the major upturn in customer numbers illustrates,
Pinnacle has an unrivalled knowledge and understanding of the marketplace,
and this reaffirms our belief that the company is extremely well placed
to both lead its field and return outstanding results in the long-term."
