Leading warewashing manufacturer chooses Pinnacle

The UK subsidiary of Europe's leading manufacturer of commercial warewashing equipment, Meiko UK Ltd, has committed to a state-of-the-art service management solution from Pinnacle Computer Systems Ltd as a platform for growth over the next few years.

With over fifty trained service engineers (direct employed and sub contract) covering the UK and Eire, Meiko UK Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of German-based Meiko Maschinenbau GmbH, designs, manufactures and installs advanced warewashing products for a wide range of sectors including hotels, restaurants, airports and hospitals.

Having recognised that its existing service management solution would not provide the functionality to support its growth ambitions, Meiko began evaluating a number of leading systems, including Pinnacle's Service Director, citing its key requirements as a user-friendly, off-the-shelf-solution which provided the company with extremely high levels of customer support.

After a tender process incorporating thorough research on the solutions currently available, Meiko found that Service Director returned the best performance characteristics in almost every area of functionality. In fact, the product met 94% of requirements without customisation.

Although Meiko's current needs were paramount, the company was also keen to invest in a system which would allow future expansion. These included mobile data/communications functionality and integration with its financial package which, while not a current requirement, would become an intrinsic element of the system in the near future.
